Diplomate, American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine
Dr. Carly Jacobs is a native Floridian who earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and completed her residency at NYU. After trading the Sunshine State for the Big Apple, she ultimately settled in Philadelphia, where she began her career in private practice dentistry.

While initially focused on general dentistry, Dr. Jacobs quickly discovered a deep passion for dental sleep medicine. Throughout her years in general practice, she treated a wide range of patients with sleep-related breathing disorders, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. Witnessing the profound impact these treatments had on her patients’ overall health and quality of life solidified her belief in the critical connection between proper breathing, the body, and the mind.

Driven by her passion for helping others and her commitment to a more holistic, patient-centered approach, Dr. Jacobs pursued extensive advanced training beyond traditional dentistry. This included mentorship from some of the world’s leading chronic pain and sleep specialists, as well as hundreds of hours of continuing education. She takes great pride in helping patients find relief from facial pain, headaches, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), airway obstructions, and breathing issues. Her ultimate goal is to identify the root cause of each patient’s concerns and guide them toward lasting health, balance, and restorative sleep.

Dr. Jacobs lives in Ambler with her husband, Josh, and their dog, Matzah. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, experimenting with new recipes, getting lost in a good book, and embracing life’s simple pleasures.
